About the Role
Are you precise, hands‑on and passionate about high‑quality engineering? We’re looking for a skilled Winder Technician to join our world‑class aviation repair and overhaul team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for winding, repairing and testing a variety of aviation power‑generation components, contributing directly to aircraft safety and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Winding stators, rotors, armatures and field coils using specialised copper wire and precision tools
- Carrying out solvent degreasing using ultrasonic cleaning equipment
- Brazing electrical connections using resistance and flame‑welding methods
- Performing electrical resistance and high‑voltage testing
- Completing accurate dimensional checks using verniers, micrometres, height gauges and gauges
This is a hands‑on role requiring accuracy, discipline and a passion for producing high‑quality engineering work.
