Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers
  • Kitting and issuing components and materials to the shop floor as specified by the Works Order in a timely manner to meet repair turnaround schedules
  • Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking & acceptance of deliveries to stock
  • Control and maintain traceability of all materials within operations.
  • Ensure all internal & external paperwork practices comply to the current quality business standard within BMS (Business Management System).
  • Measured business drivers:
  • Picking and Kitting of Works Orders
  • Material Receipts and put-aways
  • Booking-in Incoming Units
  • Kit shortage reduction
  • Dispatch Transactions
  • Daily Picks
  • Works Order Processing
  • Sub-Contract processing
  • Shelf-Life monitoring
  • Inventory reduction when applicable

Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions

  • Undertake training that is identified as a requirement of the role as identified by the role Manager.
  • Undertake all other reasonable requests that are made by the role manager/acting manager or Directors.
  • At times of reduced department staff attendance there will be a need to be flexible and provide support outside of the normal tasks of the job to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • On occasion, you may be required to take on ad hoc duties which includes, but is not limited to training, department associated tasks and brief secondment to other departments.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
