Taylor Hobson is recruiting for an Electronics/Systems Placement Student to join the Business Unit in Leicester, United Kingdom for 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and testing firmware for FPGAs and microcontrollers
- Creating and modifying CAD drawings in various software packages
- Assisting with evaluation testing, involving measuring components on our instruments and analysing the results
- Assisting with creation and maintenance of electronics CAD libraries
Requirements for Consideration:
ESSENTIAL:
- At least basic knowledge of VHDL FPGA design, C programming, digital and analog electronics
- Strong all-round communication and analytical skills and a real commitment to teamwork
- Drives projects to completion
- Confidence and integrity
DESIRABLE:
- Proficient in Word processing, Excel and PCB schematic capture software
- Undergraduate level electronic engineering or related discipline
