Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to support the Assembly, Test & Service Departments in ensuring that Products and Instrumentation are Tested, Calibrated, and produced to the highest degree of accuracy and as efficiently as possible. The Test Technician will ensure non-conformances are correctly dealt with and investigated to ensure future occurrences do not happen, while also ensuring the existing processes are as efficient as they can be using continuous improvement and lean techniques. They will be required to assist the business in ensuring compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives whilst maintaining a high level of personal 5S and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Correct Test and Calibration of products within agreed timescales.
- Processing of RMAs in line with the standard processes.
- Integrate the link between PE, DE & Production Control.
- Support CI Projects to improve product flow through the business.
- Flexibility to work between different functions and adapt when required.

Experience, Professional Qualifications and Personal Requirements
- Experience in a Test Environment required.
- Level 3 NVQ/BTEC / Minimum GSCE Math’s & English 4/C.
- HNC/Level 4 preferred.
