Product Merchandiser

The Role
– Building upon strong partnerships with existing customers in a retail environment

Working closely with the sales team and head office to ensure that customer experience is always exceptional.

Scheduled by the Merchandising Manager, working to an effective journey plan within your allocated area, maximising customer contact.
A typical day in your role will involve:
- Setting up displays on display benches and modular racking, displaying our products within garden centres and national DIY stores in your allocated area. This will include pots, outdoor heating, water features, aggregates and paving.
– Would suit the type of person who enjoys a physically demanding role with the flexibility to adapt to the varied requirements of the job, including long hours at certain times of the year.
About You
We\’re looking for someone who:

Has a full clean driving licence (A company vehicle will be provided for all work duties along with a fuel card, mobile phone and uniform)

Enjoys a manual role. This role involves a large amount of manual handling, predominantly outdoors

Can provide exceptional customer service at numerous locations

No previous merchandising experience is required but experience working within the garden centre/DIY sector would be of benefit.

Previous experience of order taking and planning would be beneficial. Full training will be given.
