Amersify is a UK-based Amazon marketing agency partnering with ambitious 7–8 figure brands who want to make Amazon their highest-performing DTC sales channel. We cut through the chaos, simplify the complex, and focus on what truly moves the needle — profitable growth. Our clients span sectors from home and garden to beverage, electronics and everything in between, trusting us to act as their full Amazon growth partner — not just another agency. We combine strategy, performance, and operational excellence to deliver measurable results that scale.
We’re a fast-moving, innovation-led business that values autonomy, high accountability, and no fluff. Every member of our team plays a direct role in our clients’ growth — and our own.
The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Performance; a leader of client performance and strategy to join our senior leadership team and shape the next phase of Amersify’s growth. This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, team performance, and operational excellence. You’ll lead and develop our performance team, working closely on client strategy, campaigns and their growth. You’ll be expected to develop an excellent team — ensuring both people and performance reach their full potential. You’ll be the go-to strategic partner for key accounts, the escalation point for complex client needs, and the bridge between Amersify’s leadership vision and day-to-day delivery. This role is designed to build a high-performing, scalable client performance function that delivers outstanding client results — consistently.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Leadership & Client Performance
- Lead client performance strategy — oversee account performance, ensuring every client has a strategic, clear, data-backed growth plan aligned with their commercial goals.
- Drive strategic excellence — translate market trends, performance data, and client insights into actionable strategies that drive visibility, profitability, and long-term growth.
- Act as the senior strategic partner for key accounts — guide your Campaign Managers on positioning strategy, navigating client challenges, and turning insights into impact.
- Champion performance accountability — set high standards for analysis, reporting, and optimisation, ensuring every recommendation moves the needle for our clients.
- Collaborate with founders on business-wide strategy — contribute to retention initiatives and agency-wide performance frameworks.
- Identify commercial opportunities — spot upsell and cross-sell potential, lead conversations that strengthen retention and revenue growth alongside the BDM. This includes new product development and global marketplace expansion.
- Elevate Amersify’s reputation — contribute to award submissions, strategic case studies, workshops and presentations via thought leadership in the Amazon advertising and strategic space.
- Lead and mentor Performance Team — manage, coach, and develop Campaign Managers to deliver consistent, high-quality performance.
- Align and improve ways of working — ensure Performance Team follows efficient, standardised processes that maximise output and quality across the agency.
- Run structured 1:1s and reviews — conduct monthly pod sessions and individual meetings to monitor performance, growth, and accountability across the Performance Team.
- Oversee client QBRs — review and sign off presentations to ensure quality, insight, and professionalism before delivery.
- Manage escalations effectively — step in when needed to protect client relationships, handling complex issues as and when needed.
- Approve key operational decisions — including resource allocation, and client process alignment.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Amazon agency experience — you’ve been deep in the world of PPC, strategy, and operations, and you understand how to grow brands on Amazon.
- Strong leadership and people management experience — you know how to bring out the best in high-performing teams and handle the tough conversations when needed.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect data, performance, and client goals into actionable growth plans.
- A natural communicator — professional, confident, and trusted in client meetings, presentations, and senior discussions.
- Obsessed with improvement — you challenge inefficiency and have a clear vision for “what great looks like”.
- Highly organised and responsible, able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – the right candidate will have a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset where you will view the Performance Team as your own, designed and built in your image, in line with the Founders’ vision.
- Desirable Experience managing multi-brand portfolios or large-scale eCommerce clients.
- Proven track record of improving client retention and account profitability.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth digital or performance agency environment.
- Familiarity with full-funnel Amazon strategy — from PPC and DSP to listings and operations.
- Amazon Vendor and Seller experience – knowledge of 1P and 3P nuances and challenges impacting respective brands.
- Skilled in analysing and presenting performance data to senior stakeholders.
- Confident working closely with founders or senior leadership teams.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- A leadership seat in a growing, innovative Amazon agency shaping the future of ecommerce marketing.
- Freedom to operate autonomously while directly influencing company direction and growth.
- A culture that values innovation, ownership, high accountability, and zero fluff – we obsess over progress.
- Fully remote structure with a connected, collaborative team culture.
- Direct access to founders who want your input and your expertise.
Benefits
- Fully remote, flexible working — work where you’re most productive.
- Quarterly company meet-ups for collaboration, planning, and celebrating wins.
- Performance-based bonuses aligned with company profitability and retention success.
- Clear progression path to Director-level as the business scales.
- A high-trust environment — we care about results, not micro-management.
Future Path
This role has a clear route to Director-level leadership as the company scales. You’ll be part of the decision-making team shaping Amersify’s next chapter — from growth strategy to team development and client success.
