The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide supervision of students in the subject areas required as appropriate, given the resources available and within the agreed and approved current timetable.
- Supervise all commercial activities within the designated area including weekend working as directed by Curriculum Manager.
- Control stock and issue materials to students, including the management of equipment & materials stores.
- Prepare resources for students use in classrooms and vocational areas and ensure equipment is maintained correctly and kept clean.
- Advise course tutors of the need for replacement stock and materials.
- Raise material/equipment requisitions, receive, check and store goods in accordance with College procedures.
- Attend Open Evenings, cross College activities, external events and exhibitions, including taking the lead in the planning and construction of the end of year show (Innovus) to actively promote the College and the Creative & Digital Department.
- Effectively manage the health and safety risk assessment and risk register process for designated learning areas and activities.
