We are hiring the Business Project Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team at Cencora.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues; analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and methodologies used in fulfilling responsibilities; contributes to refinement of program management methodology.
  • Develops project plans based on specifications provided by the Portfolio Management staff and manages effective execution of the initiatives.
  • Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution.
  • Brokers services within IT and ABC vendors on behalf of the business area represented.
  • Assists with overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress.
  • Identifies potential risks within the project; proactively manages issues.
  • Assists with participation in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation.
  • Interacts with IT staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants and other contractors.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor’s Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; PMI certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours.
  • Extensive proven experience of (5 to 7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years experience at a senior manager or equivalent level; normally requires a professional license or certificate in specialized field.
