Job Purpose: Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. This can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas, whilst if required, carrying out roles within the transport environment. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate.

Location: Leeds LS11 0LR

Rate of pay: £12.96 per hour

Hours/Days per week: Sunday 08:00 – 14:00

What you would be doing on a daily basis:

  • Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.
  • Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used.
  • Picking of Hospital orders.
  • Special check orders are assembled and given to the special checker.
  • Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area picking.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • The warehouse area must be kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.
  • High Visual Accuracy.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic written communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy.
  • Customer care.
  • Manual Handling.

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
