Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora\’s veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.

Position Summary:In this role, you will be the initial point of contact for our valued customers, delivering exceptional service while managing customer orders and enquiries. You will also engage in business development activities to enhance customer value.

This position involves rotating shifts from8 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work schedule oftwo weeks at home and two weeks in the office. A salary of£25,092is offered for a37.5-hour weekcommitment.

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus & Order Processing:

  • Engage with customers to take orders and build strong client relationships.

  • Answer general enquiries and resolve queries, handling complaints effectively.

  • Assist with customer queries and source product information.

  • Follow up on enquiries, track deliveries, and identify out-of-stock items.

  • Promote special offers through telesales activities.

  • Utilise SAP effectively in daily operations (SAP experience is a significant bonus).

  • Manage customer care processes using Practice Management Software.

  • Serve as the initial contact for Buying Group companies, taking ownership of their enquiries.

Customer Care & Database Maintenance:

  • Handle customer correspondence professionally.

  • Implement and maintain electronic price lists.

  • Keep customer databases updated and accurate.

General Office Duties:

  • Perform general administrative tasks, including manual input of data and written correspondence.

  • Liaise with internal departments and fulfilment teams professionally.

  • Assist in filing orders and managing general paperwork.

  • Comply with job-relevant Companies Practice Standards.

  • Attend training sessions to understand company procedures and standards.

Education:

  • GCSEs or equivalent required.

Work Experience:

  • 12 months experience in Customer Service or call centre environment (call centre experience is desirable).

  • Previous experience in telesales is advantageous.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SAP is beneficial.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong telephony skills and experience with live web chat, email, and SMS communication.

  • Ability to work towards KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
