Job Description
Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are...
The Business Partnering team within LFO supports a variety of business heads with all finance related activities. This includes MI production, expense and headcount management, commentary, budgeting and forecasting, product analysis, ad-hoc analysis and business plans.
Your role, along with the AVP - Finance Business Partner to which the role reports, will primarily be responsible for product and alternatives for the EMEA & APAC businesses, focusing on profitability modelling, financial analysis and support for product development and production of regular reporting for business partners.
How you'll spend your time...
- Develop, enhance and run forecasting/planning models and perform variance analysis.
- Create routine reporting by driving variance analysis - focus on providing business context.
- Assist in developing commentary around business results.
- Perform independent analysis using multiple data sources to derive root cause and track benefits of past.
- Produce insightful & well thought out ad hoc financial reports and analyses on a timely, accurate and consistent basis as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other members of the Finance team to ensure qualitative, well thought out reporting from Finance in the eyes of the wider business.
- Improve the level of understanding of the financial data in the team to enable its members to better assist and support the business.
- Increase Finance's profile throughout the organisation by the production of value added management information and the contribution of strong financial direction.
To be successful in this role you will have...
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to complete financial modeling tasks and financial analysis using spreadsheets and/or other tools.
- Previous experience in financial or analytical role.
- Experience applying accounting and financial concepts to interpret and solve business problems.
- Able to create outputs that support decisions.
- Effective communication skills, with ability to verbally present findings to management.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of finance, accounting and analytical skills.
