In your role, reporting to the Senior Reward Director, you will collaborate with HR colleagues globally, and support all regulatory analysis, regulatory filings, policy development and processes for the global asset management business. In addition, you will be responsible for providing compensation consulting and analytical support to the Senior Reward Director.
How you will spend your time:
- Support the Senior Reward Director by providing compensation and regulatory analysis.
- Act as an internal SME in relation to remuneration regulation policies and processes.
- Work closely with colleagues across HR, review and maintain all Identified Staff policies and processes for the EMEA region.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of the annual regulatory remuneration disclosures and reporting process in collaboration with Global Operations, Compliance and Legal colleagues.
- Lead and co-ordinate the preparation for the EMEA Remuneration Committee meetings on a quarterly basis and in drafting and editing content.
- Provide analysis, insights and high-quality solutions-orientated compensation advice to allocated business areas including but not limited to:
- Working closely with HR Business Partners to support annual review processes and ad-hoc compensation analysis.
- Act as a point of contact for HR Business Partners regarding benchmarking and market data.
- Conducting proactive competitive analysis and recommending updates as necessary in line with market trends and findings.
- Provide support in other areas of the Compensation team from time to time as the need arises.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven, demonstrable experience as a compensation analyst or similar within financial services.
- An understanding of European financial services reward regulation, ideally with experience of applying pay-out process rules and Identified Staff/MRT identification criteria.
- Collaborative and communicative working style, both in person and remotely.
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with other internal SMEs within and outside HR.
- Strong Excel modelling and presentation skills.
- A good appreciation of the behavioural effects of remuneration design.
If you also had this, it would be great:
- Experience of completing remuneration disclosure reporting for UCITS/AIFMD or similar.
- SMCR experience useful but not essential.
- Knowledge of UK Gender Pay Gap analysis and disclosures.
- Familiarity with interpreting law and regulation in context of company culture.
