Roles & Responsibilities

Senior Roles

  1. Work collaboratively with facilities engineering discipline leads to obtain engineering assistance required, define activities and jointly establish Statements of Work.
  2. Work collaboratively with the client leadership to ensure goals of engagement are fulfilled, new ideas are discussed and Workstream expansion Plans implemented.
  3. Workload Management – Workload Planning & scheduling, Resource Management.
  4. Generation of engineering estimates as part of work packaging.
  5. Risk Management and Quality Assurance.
  6. Drive Customer Satisfaction.

All Roles

  1. Work transparently with various facilities engineering discipline leads / teams to provide clear and concise reports and information regarding progress and management of Risk and Opportunities in relation to the Engineering activities.
  2. Define and conduct governance meetings.
  3. Bring learnings & operational best practices from other engagements.
  4. Undertake technical and feasibility studies and site investigations.
  5. Develop detailed Safety requirement specifications.
  6. Support projects as they evolve through the project engineering life cycles.
  7. Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertake risk management in specialist roles.
  8. Review of project documentation.
  9. Communicate and liaise effectively with a wide set of project stakeholders.
  10. Think both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems.
  11. Be adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
  12. Compile and peer review project and technical reports.

Fire Safety Role

  1. A combination or select number of the following skills and experience would be highly valued in this role.
  2. Fire modelling. Experience in dynamic / CFD modelling of fire progression and heat transfer. Experience in using software tools such as CFAST, ANSYS Fluent or similar.
  3. Nuclear safety & regulation compliance. Knowledge of Nuclear safety and inter-related fire safety regulation and standards.
  4. Fire protection and suppression. Experience in assessment of fire barriers, suppression systems, fire protection systems. Experience in modelling of fire suppression systems (mist, gas etc.). Knowledge of and experience in assessment of fire-resistant materials.
  5. Risk assessment, mitigation and report writing. Experience with Probabilistic Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis (FHA). Experience conducting Event tree analysis / fault tree analysis. Experience in developing mitigation strategies, with consideration for nuclear-specific hazards.
