Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering Manager with the daily function of running the Maintenance department.
- Dealing with mechanical, electrical and refrigeration planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across site to ensure equipment is fit-for-purpose and downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Control and supervise external contractors to ensure Americold H&S policies are always met and adhered to.
- Ensure the department’s risk assessments and SOPs are updated and compliant.
- Drive KPI targets through continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Assess individual training needs and implement development plans for each team member.
Experience Required
- Understanding of Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance.
- Ammonia knowledge.
- Warehouse/Distribution knowledge/experience.
- Computer knowledge, Windows, Excel, cloud-based maintenance software.
- Formal Supervisor training.
Qualifications
- NVQ, BTEC, NNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing safety.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm. 4pm finish on Fridays.
