Here at Americold Whitchurch we are now recruiting for a FP&A Analyst. We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A function. This position plays a crucial role in developing financial models, forecasting, and KPI reporting for all entities across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with the FP&A Manager, the role will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Senior Management, Operations & Finance teams, and the Group FP&A team. As an FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and distributing performance management reports. You will also take the lead in generating weekly and monthly KPI reports and other critical metrics. The role involves supporting the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, participating in the month-end close process, and assisting with variance analysis. Additionally, you will play a vital role in helping deliver the operational and financial objectives of Americold UK and Ireland.

Key requirements- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ideally holding an academic qualification in Business, Accounting, or Finance and preferably with relevant financial analyst experience.
- High degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as Sage, Hyperion & SmartView a distinct advantage.
- Previous experience in Warehousing / Cold chain industries a plus.
- A proactive can-do attitude with a result orientated outlook.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop excellent work relationships with various teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight timelines while maintaining high standards of work.
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently when required.
