Position Summary The Structural Superintendent oversees the coordination and execution of all structural work on the project, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity throughout each phase of construction.

This role supports the successful delivery of complex structural activities, working closely with project leaders, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain schedule alignments and high standards of workmanship.

This position is based in St.

Thomas, USVI and projected to begin November 2026.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Manage daily field operations related to structural activities, including concrete, steel, foundations, framing, and related site work.

Lead and supervise field crews and structural subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Coordinate sequencing of structural tasks and support the overall project schedule through daily planning and communication.

Conduct regular safety walks and enforce all site safety requirements to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.

Review drawings, shop drawings, and structural details to confirm constructability and proactively address issues.

Collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and other superintendents to resolve field challenges and keep structural work progressing smoothly.

Track progress, document field activities, and assist with daily reports and quality control measures.

Support inspections by coordinating with engineers, testing agencies, and regulatory officials.

Uphold company standards for quality, professionalism, and teamwork across the site.

Qualifications 10 years of proven experience as a Structural Superintendent or comparable field leadership role on large scale commercial or civil projects.

Strong knowledge of concrete and steel construction, structural sequences, and field troubleshooting.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide field teams and subcontractors.

Commitment to safety and familiarity with construction safety practices and regulations.

Strong problem solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic field environment.

Proficiency with basic project documentation and field reporting tools.
