American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a SC or compact RN license and night shift availability. Responsibilities
Work in the Cardiac ICU of a hospital setting Care for patients recovering from open heart, neuro, and vascular surgery, as well as trauma and medical overflow cases Unit has 8 beds with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 as required Utilizes specialized equipment including chest tubes, swans, temp pacers, cordess, cardiac continuous output, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, trach, and G/J tubes Cerner EMR is used for charting 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with every other weekend required Floating may be required to MICU, SICU, or other medical units with a maximum of 4 patients Primary responsibilities include caring for critically ill cardiovascular ICU patients and managing complex medical equipment Must wear navy blue scrubs while on duty No on-call responsibilities are associated with this role Compliance with annual CMS Medicare training required Holiday coverage may be expected as scheduled Requirements
