Responsibilities
- Perform mammography exams in a diagnostic imaging setting within the women's health section of a radiology department.
- Assist with other imaging modalities (CT, MRI, DEXA) as needed.
- Conduct examinations per imaging department protocols or in coordination with the radiologist, adhering to ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR, including charge capture and supply documentation.
- Perform daily operations of the women's health section, including QA, preventative maintenance scheduling, and accreditation record‑keeping.
- Assist with training and cross‑training of imaging staff members.
- Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory.
- Provide clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- State license required if applicable.
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing radiologic technologist and cross‑training in additional modalities such as CT, MRI, and DEXA is preferred.
- Ability to work a day shift schedule.
- Valid DOB and SSN may be required for consideration.
