My client is a well-respected plumbing and heating company with a strong reputation across Somerset and Dorset. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our friendly, professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, motivated engineer who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a company that genuinely values its staff.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service and repair boilers and heating systems
  • Carry out general plumbing works in domestic and occasional commercial properties
  • Undertake fault finding and diagnostics
  • Work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable

  • Gas Safe / OFTEC / NICEIC / Refcom registration (or working towards)

  • Salary £37,500 - £45,000 depending on experience
  • Overtime at time-and-a-half, double time on Sundays
