Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Digital Modelling: Design high-fidelity 6-DOF models to accurately simulate complex vehicle dynamics and behaviours.
- Control Systems: Create, tune, and deploy flight-critical control laws and resilient trajectory algorithms.
- Testing & Validation: Lead Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and Iron Bird development to verify systems against rigorous requirements.
- Field Operations: Support live flight testing, perform real-time data analysis, and handle on-site repairs or diagnostics.
- Leadership: Act as a technical mentor to guide junior engineers through the full design and testing lifecycle.
- Advanced Navigation: Develop GNSS-denied resilient guidance using A-PNT sensor sources.
