We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Geologist to join a talented team in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take ownership of projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic consultancy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage ground investigation projects from inception to completion
- Undertake and supervise site work, including logging soils and rock
- Develop ground models and provide geotechnical interpretations
- Prepare and review factual and interpretative reports
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and client relationships
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
- Proven experience within a UK consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Experience managing projects and supervising site works
- Working towards or holding Chartered status (CGeol or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
