BAE Systems (Land Sector) is looking for a Product Development Engineer to support the development and delivery of defence products at their Glascoed site. This is a hands‑on engineering role with a strong focus on technical documentation, trials activity, safety compliance paperwork, and configuration management.

Responsibilities
- Produce and manage technical product specifications
- Write and review technical reports and supporting engineering documentation
- Plan, support, and document product trials
- Create and maintain safety paperwork, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Support/maintain configuration management activities and documentation
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support delivery across the product development lifecycle
- Ensure compliance to relevant standards, procedures, and regulations
Required experience / skills
- Strong technical engineering capability (hands‑on, practical approach)
- Proven experience with:
- Technical report writing
- Specification writing
- Supporting or running trials
- Producing safety documentation / working to safety procedures
- Configuration management (processes, documentation, control)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
- Defence/regulated engineering experience preferred
