Are you a Structural Engineer with 2‑5 years' experience looking to further develop your design skills and gain exposure to a wide range of building structures across London and the South East? You will work closely with senior engineers and directors on a variety of projects, contributing to the design and delivery of complex building structures while continuing to build your technical capability and project experience.
Current projects:- Large multi‑storey reinforced concrete mixed‑use developments in London
- Major residential and apartment schemes using steel, masonry and RC structural systems
- Building conversions and structural alterations, including RC and masonry structures
- Refurbishment projects, including historic and Victorian building upgrades
- Temporary works design and construction‑stage engineering support
- Structural condition surveys and assessments of existing buildings
- Delivering structural designs for building projects in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber
- Producing calculations, sketches and technical design information to support project delivery
- Reviewing supplier and specialist contractor drawings, incorporating proprietary systems where required
- Coordinating design information with architects, contractors and wider design team members
- Responding to site queries and technical requests in a timely and practical manner
- Attending design team meetings and site visits, representing the company professionally
- Working to agreed project programmes and deadlines while managing your own workload effectively
- Producing high‑quality engineering deliverables, including reports, calculations and design documentation
- Supporting compliance with health, safety and design standards across all stages of project delivery
- Participating in CPD sessions, technical discussions and internal knowledge sharing
- Experience in structural design of buildings using reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber
- Ability to review and integrate supplier and proprietary systems into design solutions
- Strong understanding of construction products and structural systems
- Experience coordinating with multi‑disciplinary design teams and contractors
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced consultancy environment
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload and deadlines
- Proven ability to produce accurate, high‑quality technical outputs
- Confident representing the business at meetings and site visits
- Strong awareness of health & safety responsibilities in office and site environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and CPD
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2‑5 years' experience in structural engineering consultancy
