As a Junior Proposals Engineer, you will support the preparation of accurate and detailed proposals for customers, working alongside experienced engineers who will provide training and guidance.
You will learn how to understand customer requirements, assist with site visits, prepare quotations, and help ensure projects are handed over smoothly to the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering customer requirements for new enquiries.
- Support site surveys to collect project information.
- Work closely with colleagues and suppliers to obtain technical and commercial information.
- Help prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
- Update and maintain proposal information on internal systems.
- Follow up quotations and maintain regular communication with customers.
- Assist with the handover of successful projects to the project delivery team.

Person Specification
- HNC/HND, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical discipline (or working towards one).

- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
