An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join a well-established and respected structural and civil engineering consultancy as an Associate Director.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to take the next step into a senior leadership position, helping shape the future direction of a growing practice while delivering a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects.
The successful Associate Director will lead the delivery of structural engineering projects from inception through to completion, whilst managing client relationships, mentoring engineers and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.
The practice works across a broad range of sectors including education, commercial, residential, sports facilities, heritage, regeneration, faade and recladding schemes, together with specialist civil engineering structures.

- Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across multiple sectors.
- Manage project teams from concept through to completion.
- Carry out structural inspections, surveys and site investigations.
- Prepare and review technical reports and structural assessments.
- Review, check and approve calculations, drawings and specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes and current UK design standards.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

- Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStruct E or MICE).
- Extensive UK structural engineering consultancy experience.

- Proven experience carrying out structural inspections and producing technical reports.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience checking and approving engineering designs.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities. Full UK Driving Licence.
- Permanent UK Right to Work.
