Founded over 50 years ago, this established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivers practical and innovative civil, structural, transport and surveying solutions across residential, commercial, education, science, infrastructure and industrial projects.

Working in both the public and private sectors, the team collaborates closely with architects, developers, contractors and local authorities to provide high-quality engineering expertise from project conception through to completion.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, science and infrastructure. You'll develop client relationships, identify new business opportunities and play a key role in growing the Hertfordshire office. Working closely with clients, architects and contractors, you'll oversee project delivery, review technical designs, mentor junior engineers and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across multiple sectors
  • Managing and mentoring a team of 17 Structural Engineers and Technicians
  • Reviewing structural calculations, drawings and technical documentation
  • Managing project delivery, budgets and programme deadlines
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Proven structural engineering experience within a consultancy environment
  • Experience using Tekla and Tedds
  • Commutable to Hemel Hempstead
