Principal Subsidence Engineer Hybrid/UK Wide | £60,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Are you a Structural or Geotechnical Engineer with a passion for subsidence and foundation engineering? We're recruiting for a Principal Subsidence Engineer to join a market-leading ground engineering specialist renowned for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the globe.
The Role
You’ll be the technical lead for residential projects, responsible for:
- Diagnosing structural and geotechnical subsidence issues
- Producing and approving repair designs
- QA checking designs and quotations
- Signing off Certificates of Structural Adequacy
- Supporting and training operational teams
- Conducting predominantly remote inspections, with occasional site visits
- Acting as the go-to technical expert within the business
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
- Chartered or working towards Chartership
- 10+ years' experience civils or geotechnical engineering
- Strong technical design and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
