We are looking for an experienced Principal Seismic Engineer to join a growing specialist engineering team delivering technically challenging projects across the UK and internationally.

Based in London, you'll provide technical leadership on complex seismic and geotechnical engineering projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

The Opportunity

  • Lead seismic geotechnical assessments and technical studies
  • Develop and review advanced numerical models
  • Provide technical assurance and independent design review
  • Work on areas including liquefaction, seismic deformation, soil-structure interaction and foundations
  • Support client relationships and provide expert technical advice
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to the development of the wider team
  • Help drive innovative approaches to seismic analysis and design

About You

We're seeking a Principal Seismic Engineer with strong experience in seismic geotechnical engineering and numerical analysis.

  • A relevant engineering degree and Chartered status
  • Significant seismic/geotechnical project experience
  • Strong knowledge of numerical modelling software such as PLAXIS or FLAC
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Experience leading projects, teams or technical workstreams
