Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers who maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles.
- Manage plant and buildings.
- Develop the engineering team to enhance their skills.
- Support, advise and manage the team on a daily basis to maintain and repair a fleet of around 45 buses and coaches.
- Ensure vehicles are presented to high standards.
- Manage resource, stock and people.
- Involved in ordering, managing inventory, recruiting, training, and health & safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in a related field such as truck, light commercial or rail industries in an engineering setting.
- People management experience is required.
- Evidence of managing teams, irrespective of their size.
