Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers who maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles.
  • Manage plant and buildings.
  • Develop the engineering team to enhance their skills.
  • Support, advise and manage the team on a daily basis to maintain and repair a fleet of around 45 buses and coaches.
  • Ensure vehicles are presented to high standards.
  • Manage resource, stock and people.
  • Involved in ordering, managing inventory, recruiting, training, and health & safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a related field such as truck, light commercial or rail industries in an engineering setting.
  • People management experience is required.
  • Evidence of managing teams, irrespective of their size.
