Are you a Graduate Structural Engineer or similar looking to take your first steps into the industry with an engineering consultancy that offers excellent training and progression alongside the opportunity to become chartered? Do you have a background in steel calculations and AutoCAD software?

On offer is the opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company as part of a small team, specialising in eco-friendly engineering solutions for various contractors and residential extensions, conversions, and new builds. For over 20 years, this company based in Banbury, with a team of highly experienced consultants, has provided the very best timber, steel and concrete solutions with eco-friendly considerations to commercial and domestic properties throughout Oxfordshire.

On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include working on a variety of structural projects and designs within a small but collaborative team who will provide excellent training and mentorship. You will also have the opportunity to learn from the director and detail structural designs using AutoCAD. In any given week there are also opportunities for site visits and additional training.

The Role

  • Designing schematics for structural engineering using AutoCAD.
  • Working with technicians and engineers to see projects to completion.
  • Liaising with customers and clients on site visits.
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Person

  • Degree in Structural Engineering or similar.
  • Background doing steel calculations and using AutoCAD.
  • Commutable to Banbury (can be commuted from Oxford, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Coventry).
  • Full UK Driving License.
