Structural Engineer

Location: Sidcup, Kent

Salary: £38k-£45k

A mid‑level structural engineer is required to join this multi‑disciplinary engineering consultancy at their office in Sidcup, Kent. They have over 100 staff and their sectors include rail, buildings, marine, transport, housing, local government and many others. They are very varied in their workload.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the buildings structures team, currently just under 10 staff.
  • Design and support projects up to £60m in value.
  • Provide expertise across all main materials.
  • Use Tekla BIMs where possible (preferred).
  • Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with main structural materials.
  • Experience with multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
