- Job Overview
- Leading the design of piled foundations, retaining structures and ground improvement schemes.
- Designing ground anchors, soil nails and other specialist geotechnical solutions.
- Reviewing and checking engineering calculations and technical reports.
- Providing technical guidance and support throughout project delivery.
- Liaising with project managers, site teams and clients to resolve engineering challenges.
- Mentoring graduate and junior engineers.
- Driving innovation and promoting best practice across the design team.
- Job Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Previous experience within foundation engineering, geotechnical design or specialist ground engineering.
- Strong understanding of foundation design, retaining structures and ground improvement techniques.
- Experience with PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite and Auto CAD is desirable.
- Excellent technical, communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
