Depot Engineer - Newport - Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:30, 42 hours per week.
Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services. We have over 2500 generators on fleet ranging from 20 to 1400 kva, with many fitted with telematics and fully synced using Comap or Deep Sea panels. Regular monitoring and management of service hours on machines is required, along with servicing and repairing accordingly. Our compressor range is from 260 to 1500 cfm, with recent additions of Stage V engines to the fleet, which you would be expected to maintain similarly to our generator fleet.
What you’ll need:
- Full driving licence
- Experience of maintaining and repairing similar types of equipment
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to hours
