A leading FM service provider is seeking a Mobilisation Engineer to join their growing team, supporting the setup and transition of new contracts across London.
The role is based from the Upminster office with regular travel to sites across London, working Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. As a core member of the mobilisation team, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing new contracts to life, from initial surveys through to full handover. During quieter mobilisation periods, you'll apply the same expertise to existing contracts, helping to drive consistency and quality across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Support site supervisors through the full onboarding process for new contracts
- Produce detailed conditional surveys and deliver reports to clients within agreed timeframes
- Verify assets and provide clear remedial recommendations where required
- Capture comprehensive photographic evidence of all plant items, including those requiring repair or replacement
- Provide cost estimates for minor and major remedial works
- Compile detailed critical spares lists, including costs and lead times
- Develop Life Cycle Replacement programmes
What we're looking for:
- A strong M&E technical background with solid knowledge of building services and engineering systems
- Familiarity with statutory log books and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion
- Strong communication and customer service skills
