Your Role:

  • Design superstructures with a focus on steelwork and its interface with concrete, including developing connection details, producing calculation packs and fabrication sketches, and reviewing client specifications to clarify design intent.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure designs are practical, respond to design queries from clients and consultants, and support junior engineers.

Profile Required:

  • Over five years of structural engineering experience, working towards chartership (ICE & IStructE training and mentorship provided).
  • Experience designing steel building structures and proficiency in tools such as IDEA StatiCa, Tekla Structures, and Robot Structural Analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and a practical grasp of buildability issues are highly desired.
