Korean speaking Operations Project Manager
Our client, an industry leading global company, is looking for a Korean speaking Operations Project Manager to lead engineering, construction, and overall project delivery. While bridging Sales, Engineering/Construction Operations, and external clients, the ideal candidate will serve as the primary operational representative on-site (working alongside the Site Manager) to ensure seamless execution and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- (1) On-Site Operational Leadership: Serve as the key operational representative on-site, overseeing engineering, construction, and daily execution workflows alongside the Site Manager.
- (2) Client & Key Stakeholder Communication: Act as the direct point of contact for clients, managing technical expectations, resolving project issues, and maintaining strong client relations.
- (3) HQ & Branch Coordination: Align local engineering and construction operations with Headquarters' strategic directives, standards, and global policies.
- (4) Project Schedule & Delivery Management: Track and manage end-to-end project schedules, engineering milestones, and construction progress from post-sales handover to final commissioning.
- (5) Sales & Operations Bridge: Translate sales agreements and technical scope into actionable engineering and construction execution plans.
- (6) Risk & Timeline Management: Proactively identify field-level bottlenecks, structural delays, and technical risks, implementing prompt mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- (1) Must be fluent in both Korean & English
- (2) Must have minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management, Field Operations, or HQ-Overseas Branch coordination preferably within Engineering/Construction
- (3) Skills: Strong expertise in multi-project schedule management, on-site construction oversight, and technical risk management.
- (4) Communication: Exceptional client-facing, cross-functional, and technical communication skills.
- (5) Attributes: Highly organized, proactive problem-solver, and capable of balancing competing technical, commercial, and operational priorities across different time zones.
- (6) Excellent communication & inter-personal skills
- (7) Must be able to drive in UK
Conditions
- (1) Job type: full-time & permanent
- (2) Job location: South West London
- (3) Working hours: 8am~4:30pm (including 1 hour lunch break)
- (4) Salary: 40~47K (depending on experience)
- (5) Annual leave: 28 days (including 8 Bank/Public Holidays)
