Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team, specialising in structural engineering projects in rail infrastructure.
Duties
- Technical leadership
- Team and project management - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages
- Undertake structural design for projects including rail infrastructure
- Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliverables
- Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements
- BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a design consultancy.
- Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.
- Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications
- Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status
- A current clean UK driving license is advantageous
