Planning Engineer
Kingston upon Thames - Hybrid Working
£60-£65 an hour + Outside IR35 + Hybrid Working + Flexible Hours + 12-Month Contract
Are you an experienced Planning Engineer with a background in offshore projects and strong knowledge of Primavera P6?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global engineering and construction business working within its Offshore Wind division, supporting complex energy projects and helping deliver the transition towards Net Zero.
You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining project schedules, particularly through tendering and project planning phases, whilst working closely with project controls and wider project teams.
The role offers a 12-month contract, Outside IR35 and hybrid working, with the opportunity to work on major international offshore energy projects.
The Role
- Develop and maintain project schedules in line with contractual and internal requirements
- Support planning activities across tendering and project phases
- Identify, analyse and report schedule deviations and potential delays
- Develop and maintain 90-day look-ahead, weekly and monthly schedules
- Support project controls and preparation of project status reports
- Provide time impact analysis for contract amendments and claims
- Support project risk management and schedule risk analysis
The Person
- 5-10 years' experience in planning/project controls
- Background within Offshore Oil & Gas, ideally Offshore Wind
- Experience planning tendering phases, T& I and/or EPCI projects
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- HNC, HND or Bachelor's degree
