A highly reputable Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director of Structural Engineering to lead and grow their team based in Hemel Hempstead. Job Overview
  • Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
  • Manage design, documentation, and project delivery to ensure compliance, quality, and deadlines are achieved.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and input on complex design matters.
  • Review and sign off the work of engineers and technicians, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
  • Build and maintain new and existing client relationships to support business growth.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through Chartership and technical development.
Job Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng MICE or MIStructE).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural design and project delivery.
  • Strong background working within a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in software such as Tekla and Tedds, with familiarity in Revit/BIM processes.
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and Building Regulations.
  • Experience working with BIM methodologies.
