Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of high-quality highway design work (with a strong focus on detailed design)
- Support on active travel and local authority schemes
- Preparation of designs, drawings and calculations
- Production of contract documents and specifications
- Client and contractor liaison
- Collaboration with other discipline leads to ensure technical integration
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years highways design experience
- Working towards professional qualification (Incorporated or Chartered)
- Strong experience in active travel and local authority-led schemes
- Solid background in detailed highway design
- Can work independently and take ownership of design delivery
- Self-motivated, proactive and keen to progress
