A leading RC Frame and Groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team on a prestigious £8 million RC Frame and Groundworks project in High Wycombe.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established specialist contractor known for delivering complex reinforced concrete and groundworks projects to the highest standards.
You'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme, working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure quality, programme, and safety objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing engineering activities on site.
- Setting out for RC frame and groundworks packages.
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Producing and reviewing QA documentation and as-built records.
- Liaising with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on RC Frame and Groundworks projects.
- Strong setting out and surveying skills.
- Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and groundworks.
- Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- CSCS card (essential).
- SMSTS qualification desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
