Are you a Flood Risk Engineer with experience in flood modelling looking to join a leading consultancy where you'll work on major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, develop your technical expertise and progress your career within a growing team?
Founded over 50 years ago, this established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivers practical and innovative civil, structural, transport and surveying solutions across residential, commercial, education, science, infrastructure and industrial projects. Working in both the public and private sectors, the team collaborates closely with architects, developers, contractors and local authorities to provide high‑quality engineering expertise from project conception through to completion.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of flood modelling, Flood Risk Assessment and drainage projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, retail and education. You'll develop and review hydraulic models, prepare technical reports and liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Working within a growing Water and Environmental team, you'll manage projects from inception to completion while supporting junior engineers and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

The Role- Leading flood modelling, Flood Risk Assessment and drainage projects
- Developing and reviewing models using TUFLOW, Flood Modeller and InfoWorks ICM
- Managing projects from inception through to completion
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and the Environment Agency
- Preparing technical reports and interpreting hydrological data
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Experience in flood modelling and flood risk management
- Proficient in TUFLOW and Flood Modeller
- Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments
- Commutable to Hemel Hempstead
