Bauhaus Recruitment is looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers for education projects across Hertfordshire.
The work will involve installing and upgrading structured cabling and Wi-Fi infrastructure within schools and other education settings.
Duties will include
- Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
- Installing and replacing wireless access points
- Cable pulling, dressing and containment
- Terminating outlets and patch panels
- Testing, labelling and fault-finding
- Cabinet work and patching
- Working professionally within education environments
Requirements
- Previous data cabling experience
- CSCS or ECS card preferred
- Own tools and PPE
- Good testing and termination skills
- Reliable and comfortable working within schools
- Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
There will be opportunities across different education sites, so flexibility to travel throughout Hertfordshire is important.
