On‑Site International are looking for x1 Fibre Engineer for a project in Frankfurt, Germany starting ASAP. Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in The Netherlands—UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU; UK passport holders must have a right‑to‑work visa for The Netherlands.
Rate: €45/hour
Duties:
- Terminate 14 x 1‑pair fibre cables at external fibre switch locations
- Terminate 36 x 1‑pair fibre cables at the head end onto 2 x 24‑port trays
- Test 22 x existing fibre cables left in chambers
- Terminate and test 1 x 8‑core fibre cable at both switch ends
- Carry out fibre splicing on confirmed cores (pending confirmation)
- Perform all associated fibre testing and certification
- Complete both internal and external fibre works as required
Hours: 10 hours per day
Duration: 8 days to complete work
Required:
- ECS/VCA or Safe Pass IPAF (preferred)
- Splicing machine – essential
- Calibrated Fluke Tester – essential
