This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Structural Engineer to take the next step in their career, working closely with senior engineers on varied and technically interesting projects while receiving full support toward chartership and long-term progression. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years of UK residential structural engineering experience, strong design and calculation skills, and a desire to progress within a supportive consultancy environment.

The Role

  • Prepare structural designs and supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects
  • Carry out site visits and attend design team meetings for live projects
  • Conduct structural inspections, identify defects, and recommend remedial works
  • Support the delivery of high-end residential and affordable housing schemes
  • Assist with UK residential drainage designs where applicable
  • Work closely with senior engineers while progressing toward Chartered status

The Person

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc or equivalent)
  • Experience within the UK residential structural engineering sector
  • Strong design, problem-solving, and project delivery skills with ambitions for chartership
