Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highways and drainage designs for development and adoptable works
- Prepare calculations, sketches, design models and technical drawings
- Use AutoCAD, Site3D, Causeway Flow or similar software
- Work to current standards including CIRIA guides, BRE Digest and BS EN 752
- Support S278, S38 and S104 approvals and related submissions
- Manage workload across multiple projects and support programme delivery
- Undertake site visits and prepare reports and specifications
- Support junior staff and contribute to design quality and team efficiency
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UK highways and drainage design experience
- Strong AutoCAD, Site3D, Causeway Flow or similar capability
- Good understanding of S278, S38 and S104 standards
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage delivery efficiently
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Working toward Chartership, or interested in pursuing it
