Want to work on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects that make a real environmental impact? We're recruiting Civil Design Engineers at all levels to support a major UK water investment programme delivering treatment works, pipelines, pumping stations and wider infrastructure projects.
You'll work within a collaborative engineering team delivering sustainable, low-carbon solutions across clean water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
Responsibilities- Civil design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Hydraulic design for pressure and gravity pipelines
- Pipeline, chamber and associated infrastructure design
- Technical documentation and design support
- Feasibility, optioneering and detailed design activities
- Design risk assessments and CDM support
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Supporting sustainable and innovative engineering solutions
- Degree, HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Civil design experience within infrastructure, utilities or water sectors
- Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
- Experience with pipeline or hydraulic design
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of Health & Safety and CDM principles
- Water or wastewater sector experience
- Design & Build project experience
- ICE or IStructE membership or working towards chartership
- Experience with digital design / 3D modelling tools
- Permanent salaries up to £85,000 + benefits
