A leading M&E contractor is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer / Package Manager to join a major commercial construction project in London. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take ownership of the BMS package, ensuring the successful planning, coordination, delivery, integration, and commissioning of all systems. This is a key role on a high‑profile project, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership to ensure systems are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This opportunity suits a driven professional with experience in large‑scale commercial or mission‑critical environments, looking to play a pivotal role in project delivery and client handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the BMS package and coordinate with wider M&E workstreams
- Ensure all health & safety standards are implemented and maintained on site
- Oversee the delivery, integration, and commissioning of BMS systems
- Manage programme timelines, subcontractor performance, and information flow
- Coordinate design information between clients, consultants, and project teams
- Manage the technical submittal process ensuring timely approvals of systems and materials
- Carry out quality inspections, manage snagging, and ensure efficient project close‑out
- Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain clear reporting and communication
- Participate in engineering reviews, coordination workshops, and project meetings
- Support project handover including O&M manuals, QA documentation, and safety files
- Ensure systems are fully operational and ready for client handover.
Requirements
