About the Role
Senior Principal / Associate level Civil Engineer required for a dynamic consultancy based in the Midlands. A senior introduction is sought, with the expectation of promotion to Associate Director after six months. The role focuses on multimillion‑pound schemes and offers a hybrid working arrangement: three days in the office, two at home.
Responsibilities
- Produce or coordinate drainage appraisals and designs from concept to detailed design, including S104 drawings.
- Direct flood risk assessments to NPFF and coordinate cut‑and‑fill and external level designs with the team.
- Liaise with local authorities and councils regarding Section 278 for entrances, road widening, roundabout layouts, etc.
- Manage and produce own project designs while coordinating internal design efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience in Highways and Drainage, with priority prior knowledge of Section 278.
- Proficiency with Microdrainage, PDS/Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Chartered status or expected to achieve it in the near term.
- Experience working on schemes such as schools, industrial sites, hotels, hospitals and medium‑rise apartments.
