- Minimum 2+ years' experience in environmental management within property, facilities management, public sector estates
- Experience implementing Environmental Management Systems

About you:
- Degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Science, or related field (essential)
- Professional membership (IEMA, CIWM, CIEEM, Energy Institute) is desirable
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental management, ideally within property, facilities management, or public-sector estates
- Knowledge of NI environmental legislation and ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 50001)
- Experience conducting environmental audits, reporting, and implementing EMS
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and foster a culture of sustainability
What you'll do:
- Lead and maintain the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and support energy management activities aligned with ISO 50001
- Ensure full compliance with NI environmental legislation, regulations, and internal policies
- Manage environmental risks through diligent monitoring, audits, and corrective actions across a multi-site estate
- Deliver audits, inspections, and compile assurance reports, tracking improvements and non-conformances
- Cultivate an environmental culture through staff training, engagement, and communication strategies
- Support sustainable procurement and carbon reporting initiatives, ensuring operational delivery aligns with environmental targets
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to embed environmental considerations into all operational activities
